The Technology

Sublimation printing utilizes heat and pressure to transfer images directly into the surface of an object, such as metal or wood, bonding images to the substrate at the molecular level. The aluminum panels that we use have a proprietary polymer-based thick high-gloss white coating on them and they are protected from harmful UV rays and scratches so that art remains vibrant and vivid. This means that fine art, photos and more can be displayed virtually anywhere with more intense color, more clarity, crisper detail and a longer life than any other print medium., depth of color and details come to life. When displayed, unframed prints made with the latest generation of aluminum photo panels printed with Epson UltraChrome DS inks have Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) Display Permanence Ratings that are more than three times higher than Kodak Endura silver-halide prints that have been framed under glass.
